Open USD (OUSD), a stablecoin issued by Bridge, a Stripe company, is now live across Base, Ethereum, Solana and Tempo, giving businesses and developers access to fee-free 1:1 minting and redemption.

OUSD can be integrated through Mastercard, Stripe and Visa platforms. The token can be created and redeemed at a 1:1 rate with no fee.

Its reserves are held by BlackRock, Lead Bank and BNY. Bridge handles issuance.

Coinbase plans to begin supporting OUSD on Oct. 1, adding the U.S. exchange’s distribution network to the launch. The rollout places OUSD across two major smart-contract ecosystems, Solana and Ethereum, as well as Base and Tempo.
