Open USD (OUSD) launched Wednesday as Stripe’s default stablecoin for businesses, expanding access through Mastercard and Visa while Coinbase prepares to join the rollout Oct. 1.

Mastercard’s distribution route runs through BVNK.

Visa is offering limited beta access. Coinbase access is scheduled to begin Oct. 1.

Stripe has made OUSD its default stablecoin for businesses.
