Robinhood Plans to Expand Tokenized Stock Offerings to Thousands
CEO Vlad Tenev said the platform is also preparing private-company stock tokens after offering about 200 tokenized equities.

Robinhood plans to expand its tokenized stock offerings from about 200 equities to several thousand and add tokens representing shares in private companies, CEO Vlad Tenev said.
Tenev said private-company stock tokens have been under discussion for some time and that Robinhood has determined how to offer them. He said the initiative is expected to become a large-scale part of the platform’s offerings.
The expansion is tied to Robinhood’s work with private companies through Robinhood Ventures. The company is also working as an underwriter and helping private firms consider how to approach retail investors as they evaluate potential public listings.
The plans would broaden Robinhood’s tokenized-equity lineup beyond publicly traded companies. No launch date was provided.
