Micron expects fiscal 2027 first-quarter revenue to reach $61.5 billion, with Chief Financial Officer Mark Murphy forecasting $38.15 in earnings per share as memory-market supply tightens.

Murphy said the quarter would represent the low point for Micron’s gross margin during fiscal 2027. He expects gross margin to rise gradually in each subsequent quarter.

Micron has signed 26 long-term agreements covering about $150 billion in orders. Murphy said supply and demand conditions in the memory market are expected to be tighter in 2027 and 2028 than in 2026, with no visible endpoint for a return to balance.

The forecast was discussed Sept. 30 at about 10:21 p.m. ET (Oct. 1, 02:21 UTC).
