Applied Digital has brought another 75 megawatts of critical IT capacity online at its Polaris Forge 1 campus, lifting the site’s operating total to 250 MW as the company expands its AI data center business.

The addition is the second phase of Building 2, which has reached Ready for Service status. Three data halls rated at 25 MW each make up the new capacity, bringing Building 2’s critical IT load to its full 150 MW.

Polaris Forge 1 is a fully leased AI Factory campus. Existing contracts are expected to cover 400 MW of critical IT load once the campus is fully built.

Applied Digital also operates blockchain data centers for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining clients. Its growth and capital allocation focus has shifted toward high-performance computing and artificial intelligence data centers.
