The Oct. 3 XRP Seoul program listed XRP Asia President Sabrina Tachdjian for a session with Ripple executive Tatsuya Kohrogi, while a separate panel featured representatives from three Korean banks without announcing an XRP Ledger deployment.

The panel was scheduled to discuss cross-border payments and tokenized deposits, with participants from Woori Bank, Kbank and JB Bank. The listing does not establish a commitment, pilot or partnership involving the banks and XRP Asia.

In February, XRP Asia was in its early stages, with no launch date, budget or specific programs disclosed. It was planned as an Asia-Pacific hub to support local developers and the XRP Ledger community. The Seoul program does not explain the group’s structure or detail its planned support.

Ripple has deployed more than $550 million into XRP Ledger ecosystem initiatives since 2017. Those efforts include grants, builder incentives, partnerships and growth programs.

The Seoul agenda also listed a session titled “What’s Coming Next for the XRP Ecosystem in Asia,” but did not specify what was announced. Separately, proposed features in XRP Ledger version 3.3.0 include batching up to eight transactions and delegating certain account permissions. The available details do not establish that either feature is live or connected to the Seoul event.
