AMD Plans to Raise Taiwan Supply Chain Investment Above $10 Billion

CEO Lisa Su tied the planned increase to strong AI computing demand. She said demand for computing chips remains ahead of supply as AMD expands production.

AMD plans to increase its previously announced $10 billion investment in its Taiwan supply chain as demand for AI computing rises, CEO Lisa Su said.

The investment plan remains on schedule, and the company intends to expand it in response to rising market demand. Su said demand for computing chips continues to exceed supply as AMD increases production.
