Netlist shares rose 18% during early trading Oct. 6, 2026, after Micron Technology agreed to pay $600 million for a five-year license to the company’s patent portfolio.

The patents include server DIMMs, or dual in-line memory modules, and high-bandwidth memory. The agreement covers the portfolio for five years.
