Coinbase Completes Deribit Integration, Expands Crypto Derivatives Access
The integration connects Coinbase Financial Markets with Coinbase International Exchange and expands access to spot and derivatives products for eligible customers.

Coinbase has completed the integration of Deribit with Coinbase International Exchange, expanding access to crypto spot and derivatives products for eligible customers through regulated channels.
The combined Coinbase Global Exchange links Coinbase Financial Markets, Coinbase’s futures commission merchant, with its global derivatives operations. The structure is designed to connect U.S. and international crypto derivatives markets through a single regulated liquidity pool.
Eligible customers can receive access to options and perpetual futures through regulated channels, subject to jurisdiction and onboarding requirements.
The integration expands Coinbase’s derivatives offering for eligible U.S. institutional customers and customers outside the United States in approved jurisdictions.
The move follows Coinbase’s expansion of its derivatives business through the Deribit integration and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s May guidance on crypto perpetual contracts.
