Eric Trump Scheduled for TOKEN2049 Session After Real Estate Tokenization Proposal
Trump is scheduled to appear with World Liberty Financial CEO Zach Witkoff in a 40-minute session in Singapore on Oct. 7.

Eric Trump is scheduled to appear at TOKEN2049 Singapore on Oct. 7 after proposing the tokenization of real estate and other assets.
Trump is listed with World Liberty Financial CEO Zach Witkoff and moderator David Wachsman for the 40-minute session “The Future of Finance, Built in America.” The session is scheduled for 2 to 2:40 a.m. ET (6 to 6:40 a.m. UTC).
The appearance comes after Trump proposed using blockchain tokens to give investors fractional exposure to real estate and other assets. The concept would allow investors to buy smaller interests in properties rather than purchase an entire asset.
Trump has described a plan involving one specific building and suggested that investors could buy small interests in high-profile properties for as little as $1,000. He also proposed allowing property developers to raise money directly from the public instead of relying on traditional lenders.
World Liberty Financial is associated with the Trump family and operates USD1, a dollar-linked stablecoin. The proposed model would connect underlying assets, a token platform and a digital settlement asset.
The proposal also raises potential conflict-of-interest concerns because World Liberty Financial is tied to the Trump family. No launch date, property, token terms, ownership rights or investor protections have been disclosed, and it has not been confirmed that family-linked assets will use the platform.
Tokenization uses blockchain tokens to represent assets that exist outside the blockchain, including real estate, artwork and financial instruments. The approach is intended to create fractional access to assets that may otherwise require a larger investment.
Distributed tokenized real-world assets excluding stablecoins stood at $38.84 billion on Oct. 7, 2026. Market totals vary depending on whether they measure assets distributed through blockchain networks or assets represented by tokens.
TOKEN2049 is scheduled for Oct. 7-8 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Organizers expect more than 25,000 attendees, 7,000 companies, more than 300 speakers and 500 exhibitors.
