World Liberty Financial Prepares WLFI App, Plans Payment Integration
Co-founder Zak Folkman announced the planned application at Token2049 in Singapore. The project also plans to connect its payment technology with a Web2 company serving billions of users.

World Liberty Financial is preparing to release an application for WLFI.
World Liberty Financial co-founder and COO Zak Folkman announced the planned app Oct. 7 at Token2049 in Singapore.
The project also plans to integrate its payment technology with a Web2 company serving billions of users. The system is intended to make payments to drivers, contractors and creators, although the company involved was not identified.
The announcement follows the transfer of 25.997 million WLFI to Gate by a wallet labeled to World Liberty Financial. The transaction was valued at about $1.41 million, but the transfer alone did not establish that the tokens were sold.
The payment plan was previously disclosed as part of WLFI’s planned integration with a Web2 firm.
