Genius Group has resumed Bitcoin (BTC) purchases, acquiring 10 BTC for approximately $854,000 as it restarts a treasury strategy targeting $827 million in Bitcoin assets by fiscal 2031.

The purchases took place between Oct. 2 and Oct. 5 at an average price of $85,364 per BTC. They are the next step in the company’s $1.2 billion dual-treasury capital plan, which also targets $800 million in artificial intelligence assets and $2 billion in total assets by fiscal 2031.

Genius Group plans to fund the purchases through operating cash flow, a perpetual preferred securities issuance program and its at-the-market stock offering facility. The company does not plan to use debt financing to buy the assets or pledge its Bitcoin and AI holdings as collateral.

CEO Roger James Hamilton described the purchase as limited in size but a restart of the company’s Bitcoin accumulation strategy.
