Kaiko has joined the Canton Foundation Sub-Committee as the group works to advance tokenized collateral adoption in formal financial systems and move projects beyond pilot programs.

The initiative will focus on developing a reliable on-chain pricing-data framework to help build trust among counterparties evaluating tokenized assets. The goal is broader acceptance of tokenized collateral at central counterparties.

Kaiko provides pricing data for crypto markets. Its addition to the Canton Foundation Sub-Committee brings the company into the foundation’s work promoting blockchain technology and tokenization.

The Canton Network has previously been used for a transaction in which a tokenized deposit funded the purchase of a tokenized U.K. government bond.
