Coinbase plans to open spot trading for Pons (PONS) on Wednesday, expanding access to the token through a major U.S.-facing exchange.

The PONS-USD trading pair is scheduled to become available on Oct. 7 if liquidity conditions are met. Access will also depend on whether trading is supported in a user's region.

The planned launch gives eligible Coinbase users a direct U.S. dollar market for PONS. The announcement did not specify an opening time.

Coinbase's next step is to activate PONS-USD trading on Oct. 7, subject to the stated liquidity and regional conditions.
