Solana and Samsung have partnered to integrate stablecoin payments across 82 million Samsung devices, a move aimed at expanding blockchain use in everyday transactions.

The initiative will use Solana’s blockchain infrastructure to support stablecoin payments through Samsung’s broad consumer-device network. Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies designed to maintain a relatively stable value, typically by tracking a traditional currency such as the U.S. dollar.

The companies’ collaboration links Solana’s high-speed transaction network with Samsung’s reach in consumer electronics. The partnership is intended to make blockchain-based payments more accessible while increasing the practical use of stablecoins.

The effort reflects broader interest in bringing cryptocurrency payment functions into mainstream technology products. Its next step will be integrating the payment capability across the Samsung devices covered by the initiative.
