Ameresco will upgrade Columbia, Missouri’s electric and water metering systems under a contract valued at about $42 million.
The project will replace about 54,000 electric meters and 53,000 water meters. It also includes a new advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) network and software for managing utility data.
The work will update Columbia’s electric and water metering infrastructure through new meters, network technology and data-management software.
