Securitize plans to bring tokenized shares of 12 U.S. companies, including Apple, Nvidia and Tesla, to Solana, giving eligible investors a blockchain-based way to trade the assets through its platform.

The tokens are designed to be backed one-for-one by underlying shares and retain applicable economic benefits and shareholder rights, including dividends and voting rights. Jump Trading will provide liquidity, while RQD is expected to support clearing, custody and settlement. Transactions will settle in USDC.

Trading is planned to begin during extended hours for eligible investors in the United States, Europe and other permitted markets. Securitize plans to expand access to 24/7 trading.

The company also plans to bring the tokens to the New York Stock Exchange’s proposed digital trading platform and the OKXICE Tokenized Securities Venue. Both venues must launch and satisfy regulatory requirements before those expansions can occur.

The NYSE and Securitize agreed in March to develop a tokenized-securities platform. OKXICE has proposed a permissioned venue on XLayer, but the planned platforms do not mean trading of these specific tokens has begun.
