TruGolf has completed its acquisition of Polymath Research, the developer of the Polymesh blockchain, giving the Nasdaq-listed golf technology company a wholly owned blockchain subsidiary.

The transaction value was not disclosed. TruGolf will continue operating its golf technology business, including its simulators and E6 platform, while Polymath remains focused on its blockchain operations.

TruGolf Links and Polymath are developing a program to use tokenized securities to finance equipment leases and offer partial franchise ownership to eligible franchisees. The program is targeted for launch in the first quarter of 2027.

Regional developers in New Jersey, New York and Illinois have committed to opening more than 100 locations in the future, according to the deal details.

Natalie Hirsch, who served as Polymath’s chief financial officer and interim chief executive officer during the transaction, has been appointed TruGolf’s chief financial officer and chief operating officer. David Hackett has joined TruGolf’s board.
