American Airlines plans to install SpaceX’s Starlink internet service across more than 1,000 mainline aircraft, expanding an earlier plan focused on more than 500 Airbus planes.

The broader rollout will cover the airline’s entire mainline fleet.

Starlink is SpaceX’s internet service for aircraft. The expansion gives American Airlines a larger planned onboard connectivity rollout than its previously announced Airbus-only plan.
