Fannie Mae announced Thursday the sale of about $259.9 million in nonperforming loans, including roughly 1,217 deeply delinquent loans in a transaction involving a dedicated community lending pool.

The sale includes Fannie Mae’s 29th Community Impact Pool, which contains about 27 loans with a combined unpaid principal balance of $5.7 million.

The Community Impact Pool is included within the broader sale and represents a smaller group of loans alongside the approximately 1,217 deeply delinquent loans covered by the transaction.
