Docusign has introduced a desktop PDF editor for modifying, combining, redacting and converting documents before electronic signature within its Intelligent Agreement Management platform.

The planned tool will support changes to text and images, file combination, sensitive-information redaction, form creation and file conversion. Users will also be able to send documents for signature from within the application, keeping pre-signature changes in the agreement history.

“You shouldn’t have to jump in between tools just to get a contract ready for signature,” Docusign Chief Product Officer Graham Sheldon said.

Docusign introduced its Intelligent Agreement Management strategy in April 2024 as it expanded beyond electronic signatures into agreement creation, execution and post-signature management. The platform also includes tools for extracting and analyzing contract information with artificial intelligence.

IAM accounted for 15.1% of Docusign’s total annual recurring revenue as of July 31, up from 12.6% on April 30. The company expects IAM to represent approximately 18% to 19% of total ARR at the end of fiscal 2027.

Docusign reported fiscal second-quarter revenue of $875.7 million for the three months ended July 31, up 9% year over year.
