Automation Anywhere will acquire Boost.ai from Nordic Capital in a deal that adds conversational and voice artificial intelligence tools for customer-facing operations to the enterprise automation company’s platform.

Automation Anywhere announced the agreement Oct. 7, 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.

The acquisition is intended to connect customer requests across voice, chat and digital channels with the systems and employees responsible for completing the work. It supports Automation Anywhere’s vision of an “Autonomous Enterprise,” which could allow business functions to operate up to 80% autonomously or with AI assistance.

“Every enterprise runs on three kinds of work: serving customers, supporting employees, and running the business,” Mihir Shukla, CEO and chairman of Automation Anywhere, said.

Boost.ai serves hundreds of customer organizations, particularly in financial services, telecommunications and insurance. Its platform supports more than 36 languages and includes security and privacy measures aligned with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation and U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act requirements. The platform also includes an independent SOC 2 report.

Boost.ai has achieved a production resolution rate above 90%. Founded in Norway in 2016, the company expanded into Europe and North America during Nordic Capital’s ownership after the investment firm backed it through Nordic Capital Evolution in 2021.

“By joining Automation Anywhere, we can connect the conversation, including voice, directly to the systems and people who get the work done,” Jerry Haywood, CEO of Boost.ai, said.

Automation Anywhere has more than 4,000 customers across more than 90 countries and delivers nearly half a billion AI-agent and automation executions annually. Its agentic AI executions increased fivefold over the past year.

The Boost.ai transaction follows Automation Anywhere’s acquisition of Aisera in late 2025. Its product strategy covers customer operations through voice, chat and digital channels; employee operations across information technology, finance and human resources; and business operations involving enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management and other systems.

“The real transformation from AI will come when enterprises stop measuring agents and start redesigning how work gets done around outcomes,” Ankur Kothari, co-founder and chief operating officer of Automation Anywhere, said.

Bank of America Securities advised Automation Anywhere, while Santander advised Boost.ai. The acquisition remains pending and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
