Tennessee Gas Pipeline completed repairs in Texas and lifted a force majeure affecting delivery meters serving Mexico, easing the disruption.

The pipeline, owned by Kinder Morgan, said the affected area was returning to normal operations by Oct. 8. The force majeure had been declared Oct. 6 after a problem was identified during planned maintenance and inspections.

“The repairs have now been completed and the area is in the process of returning to normal operations,” Tennessee Gas Pipeline said in a customer notice.

Cuitlahuac Garcia called the situation in the United States “critical.” The affected delivery points included Rio Bravo and CENAGAS facilities connected to Tennessee Gas Pipeline.

Tennessee Gas Pipeline is part of Kinder Morgan’s interstate natural gas network. Its approximately 11,824-mile system transports gas from U.S. supply regions to markets in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
