LSEG Agreement Gives CMC Markets Broader Access to Financial Data
The multi-year deal covers pricing, corporate actions, news, analytics and AI-ready content as CMC Markets expands its trading and investing business.

LSEG and CMC Markets have entered a multi-year strategic agreement that broadens CMC’s access to financial data, news, analytics and AI-ready content as the trading and investing business expands its multi-asset operations.
The arrangement provides access to real-time and delayed pricing, reference data, corporate actions information, news and analytical content. The expanded data coverage is intended to give CMC more consistent financial information across its trading, investing and institutional businesses.
CMC plans to use the infrastructure as it develops new products, enters additional markets and grows its institutional and business-to-business relationships. The agreement also supports the company’s broader effort to build a more diversified, technology-led financial services business.
Access to AI-ready content will provide material for future artificial intelligence applications and workflows across CMC’s operations. The deal combines financial data and analytics with flexible access and specialist support as the company scales.
Chris Coleman, LSEG’s group head of sales and account management, said the expanded combination of data, analytics and support would help CMC develop new client offerings and pursue innovation.
Lord Peter Cruddas, CMC Markets’ founder and chief executive officer, called LSEG an important strategic partner. “As CMC continues to grow and diversify, having the right data and technology behind the business is critical to how quickly and effectively we can scale,” Cruddas said.
He added that broader access to trusted financial information would help CMC move faster and improve the experience it provides to clients.
