Barclays Keeps 6.84% LANXESS Position as Holdings Shift
Share-based voting rights fell to 1.83%, while the position held through financial instruments rose to 5.01%.

Barclays PLC’s combined LANXESS position remained 6.84% after its share-based and instrument-based holdings changed on Oct. 6.
The position was based on 86,346,303 total voting rights. Barclays held 1.83% through shares, equal to 1,577,325 shares, compared with 2.00% in the previous notification.
The instrument position rose to 5.01% from 4.84%. Barclays held no shares directly and held 1.83% indirectly. Its instrument position included 0.18% through a right-to-recall instrument and 4.83% through cash-settled instruments.
The cash-settled instruments included a portfolio swap representing 1,348,400 voting rights, or 1.56%, with a term from Nov. 25, 2026, to Sept. 14, 2028. An index swap represented 1,409,252 voting rights, or 1.63%, and expires Sept. 21, 2027.
A future index swap represented 1,409,232 voting rights, or 1.63%, and expires Sept. 22, 2027. No explanation was provided for the shift between share-based and instrument-based holdings.
