Hinkal said Oct. 9 that it joined Mastercard’s Crypto Partner Program, positioning its zero-knowledge privacy technology for stablecoin payment applications while the company remains absent from Mastercard’s published partner list.

Hinkal says its system can verify blockchain transactions without publicly disclosing the sender, recipient or amount. The approach is designed to add confidentiality to public-chain payments while allowing selected parties to review transaction records.

The company says its compliance framework includes screening, know-your-transaction monitoring, viewing keys and selective disclosure for auditors and regulators.

Mastercard launched its Crypto Partner Program on March 11 with more than 100 crypto companies, payment providers and financial institutions. The program allows participants to work with Mastercard teams on products and services that connect digital assets with established payment infrastructure.

Mastercard’s published partner list includes Polygon, Circle, Binance, Borderless.xyz and Turnkey, a Tether-related infrastructure partner. Hinkal is not named on that list.

Hinkal’s documented integrations include Polygon Wallet and Borderless. The company describes private stablecoin settlement across a network covering more than 94 countries and more than 63 fiat currencies.

The reported membership does not establish a live Mastercard product, card issuance arrangement, commercial launch or direct technical integration with Hinkal. No customer rollout or transaction volume was identified.

Mastercard’s broader crypto initiative has also included other stablecoin-payment efforts, including Morph’s exploration of stablecoin applications through the program.
