Grayscale engaged more than 400 allocators and operators during TOKEN2049 Singapore, with discussions including tokenization, financial privacy, exchange-traded funds and onchain finance.
The digital-asset manager hosted 16 speaking events across the Oct. 7-8 conference and two related side events. The conference brought together participants from the crypto and financial sectors.
TOKEN2049 Singapore drew 25,000 attendees from 160 countries. Executives, founders, investors and project builders took part in sessions across the conference.
The event also included discussion of tokenized financial products. Aave founder Stani Kulechov expects lending against tokenized stocks and other real-world assets to overtake crypto-backed lending next year. The discussion also examined tokenized stock lending.
Jesse Pollak, creator of Coinbase’s Base network, said non-dollar stablecoins and tokenized equities may help lead blockchain’s next growth phase.
Grayscale’s sessions addressed tokenization, financial privacy, ETFs and onchain finance as the industry examined how digital assets could connect with established financial products.
The New York edition will extend the TOKEN2049 series into the U.S. market, with the first conference scheduled for June 16-17, 2027. The two-day event will be accompanied by additional events across New York.
