ZEROBASE Ends DAT and Perpetual-Contract Work as It Cuts Costs
The zero-knowledge proof network is reducing research and development spending and moving some developers into security and strategy roles.

ZEROBASE has ended its DAT and perpetual-contract initiatives and cut staff as the zero-knowledge proof network shifts its main strategy toward reducing costs amid weaker altcoin liquidity.
CEO Mirror Tang said the project is focusing on spending only where it matters. ZEROBASE is also reducing research and development investment as market conditions change.
Some developers are being reassigned to security operations, business security and strategy development.
The operations team is being directed to prioritize customer service, support for major events and continued participation in industry conferences. The moves mark a narrower operating focus after the network determined that DAT and perpetual-contract work was producing negative returns under current liquidity conditions.
