Strive expects its SATA preferred stock offering to generate about $55 million, providing funds equivalent to roughly 638 Bitcoin (BTC) at a price of about $82,800 per coin.

The offering recorded approximately $317 million in total SATA trading volume during the week ended Oct. 5. SATA traded above its $100 face value for most of Monday and Tuesday before remaining below face value from Wednesday through Friday.

The shift below face value led Strive to pause the issuance activity. The amount of Bitcoin ultimately purchased with the proceeds is expected to be confirmed in the companies’ Monday-filed 8-K reports.

Strive held 29,462 BTC as of Oct. 2 after adding 2,000 BTC between Sept. 28 and Oct. 2 at an average price of about $84,422. The planned SATA proceeds would therefore represent another potential expansion of the company’s Bitcoin treasury strategy, although the final purchase amount has not yet been established.
