JPMorgan Asset Management plans to double its European assets under management to $2 trillion over the next five years, targeting growth among Europe’s wealthy population.
The firm’s European assets have risen from $500 billion to $1 trillion over the past nine years. The increase reflected market gains and continued inflows from new and existing clients.
JPMorgan Asset Management plans to build on that growth through actively managed exchange-traded funds, alternative assets and partnerships with leading wealth-management firms.
Reaching the new target would require adding $1 trillion in European assets under management over five years, calculated from the current $1 trillion level and the $2 trillion target.
