Delta Electronics posted a 14.6% year-over-year increase in September revenue, while its shares fell 3.31% after the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) opened a patent investigation involving power-delivery technology.

The company recorded consolidated revenue of NT$65.4 billion for September, up from NT$57.061 billion a year earlier and 1.3% from NT$64.586 billion in August.

Revenue for the first nine months reached NT$539.668 billion, increasing 37.2% from NT$393.272 billion during the same period last year. Demand from global cloud-service providers for high-end artificial intelligence server power supplies and cooling modules remained a key growth driver.

The USITC opened a Section 337 investigation at Vicor's request involving vertical power delivery systems and related components. The technology is mainly used to address power density and heat dissipation in high-compute chips.

Delta Electronics said its production and supply schedules had not been materially affected and that it would respond through legal channels to protect its interests.

The company's shares opened at NT$1,940, fell to an intraday low of NT$1,855 and closed at NT$1,900. The stock declined NT$65, or 3.31%.
