BitMine acquired 12,532 Ether (ETH), bringing its total holdings to 6,028,946 ETH and moving the company closer to its goal of accumulating 5% of Ethereum’s supply.

The holdings now represent about 4.9% of the network’s overall ETH supply. The latest purchase adds to BitMine’s position as it builds a large Ethereum treasury and approaches its stated accumulation target.

BitMine management indicated that future purchases may slow as the company nears the 5% threshold, marking a potential shift from rapid accumulation toward maintaining its existing position.

The company’s latest move comes as Ethereum remains a major focus for large crypto holders pursuing treasury and staking strategies.
