A7 to Unveil Tether-Based Cross-Border Payments Service Oct. 13
The service will let customers pay foreign invoices in Tether (USDT) while recipients receive funds through SWIFT in their requested currency.

A7 International plans to present a cross-border payments service on Oct. 13 that will let customers settle foreign invoices in Tether (USDT) while recipients receive funds through SWIFT in the requested currency.
The service will primarily target foreign trade operators but also accept individual customers. It will charge a fixed fee of 0.3%.
A7 is a Russian international settlement system established in 2024 with the involvement of PJSC Bank PSB. Its planned offering links a USDT payment from the customer with a conventional bank transfer to the foreign counterparty.
A7 is developing payment infrastructure across more than 100 countries and serves 15,000 clients. The system processes about 2,000 transactions daily and handled about 19% of Russian companies’ cross-border trade settlements in 2025.
The company offers international payments, digital financial assets and promissory notes. A7 received an AA(RU) credit rating with a stable outlook in October 2025.
The presentation comes as the U.S. Treasury’s action against the A7 Network continues to shape scrutiny around the system. Treasury designated the network a transnational criminal organization over alleged sanctions evasion, while the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network proposed restrictions on payments involving A7 sub-agents and issued an alert on suspicious activity connected to the network.
Ilan Shor, CEO of A7, and Petr Fradkov, chairman of PJSC Bank PSB, are scheduled to present A7 International on Oct. 13.
