Bitfinex Securities Opens Tokenized Funds Through Tether’s Hadron
The Crest Fund and Liberty Bitcoin Accumulation Fund use Hadron for issuance, compliance and lifecycle management, with subscriptions scheduled through Oct. 29, 2026.

Bitfinex Securities has opened tokenized offerings for two CMCC Global funds, giving eligible investors blockchain-based ownership records for products using quantitative, market-neutral strategies.
The offerings are Crest Fund, denominated in U.S. dollars, and Liberty Bitcoin Accumulation Fund (LBAF), denominated in Bitcoin (BTC). Subscriptions are scheduled to remain open through Oct. 29, 2026, subject to investor eligibility and verification requirements. The minimum investment is one token.
Crest tokens are priced at $10 each. LBAF tokens are priced at 0.0001 BTC each.
The funds use strategies that include funding-rate arbitrage, market making, exchange arbitrage and decentralized finance activity. Martin Baumann, managing partner at CMCC Global, said, “Both funds use diversified portfolios of quantitative, market-neutral strategies rather than relying principally on the directional performance of digital-asset markets.”
LBAF is structured as a regulated Cayman Islands mutual fund for accredited investors. It targets net annualized returns of 8% to 12% in BTC, but the target is not a guarantee of performance.
Crest was founded by Willy Woo and CMCC Global in 2022 and focuses on quantitative digital-asset research, data and risk management. Both funds are structured as segregated portfolios of CMCC Global SPC in the Cayman Islands.
Hadron by Tether provides infrastructure for token issuance and burning, know-your-customer controls, compliance and lifecycle management. Bitfinex Securities provides the issuance and trading infrastructure.
Bitfinex Securities had more than $500 million in listed assets in September 2026. The platform is licensed by El Salvador’s National Commission of Digital Assets and operates under the Astana International Financial Centre framework in Kazakhstan.
