Blur Sets Nov. 12 Front-End Closure as BLUR Slides 15%
The NFT marketplace will keep its on-chain protocol running, while Blend will stop arranging new loans on the same date.

Blur plans to shut its platform front end on Nov. 12, 2026, while its on-chain marketplace protocol continues operating and its BLUR token retains control over the protocol fee switch.
Blend, Blur’s NFT lending protocol, will also stop arranging new loans on Nov. 12. Borrowers must repay outstanding loans before that date or the loans will enter default.
After the shutdown, Blur plans to provide front-end tools that let users withdraw assets from Blend. The announcement was followed by a sharp move lower in BLUR, which traded at $0.01548 after reaching $0.01405 and falling 15.31% over 24 hours.
The changes separate Blur’s user-facing platform from the continued operation of its on-chain marketplace protocol. The front-end closure and Blend’s lending deadline are both scheduled for Nov. 12.
