Bloomberg’s New Economy Forum will convene in New Delhi from Oct. 13-15, 2026, with more than 500 leaders from government and business expected to attend.

Confirmed participants include former U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Blackstone President and Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Gray, and Tata Sons Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran.

The forum’s theme is “A World in Play: Defining the New Levers of Power.” Its agenda covers geopolitical realignment, technological breakthroughs, energy transitions and changing supply chains, as countries and companies reassess economic relationships and strategic autonomy.

Chandrasekaran and Gray are scheduled to appear in a session titled “The End of Predictability” alongside former U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo. Sunak is listed as a forum participant.

Tata Sons is a founding partner of the 2026 forum. The event coincides with the 30th anniversary of Bloomberg’s presence in India and was founded by Michael Bloomberg in 2018 to promote dialogue between business and political leaders across East and West.

“India occupies a position of great consequence in the global economy,” Bloomberg Media CEO Karen Saltser said.

“The global economy has entered a fractious new chapter,” Erik Schatzker, editorial director of Bloomberg New Economy, said.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India “is no longer just a destination for investment, it is a trusted partner in shaping the global future.”
