Sushi CEO Alex McCurry suggested that Sushi consider acquiring Blur (BLUR) as the NFT marketplace prepares to retire its blur.io front end and stop matching new loans on Blend on Nov. 12.

McCurry also said he was willing to speak with Blur team members who reached out. His comments did not include terms for a potential acquisition.

The planned changes affect Blur’s website interface and new-loan matching through Blend. Blur’s on-chain marketplace protocol is scheduled to remain active, while the project will retain control of its fee switch.

The proposal came after BLUR fell sharply following Blur’s earlier front-end announcement. The changes are scheduled for Nov. 12.
