Binance is assessing demand for access to the top 10 stocks in Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan and Brazil, broadening its multi-asset offering without announcing a launch timetable or product structure.

Richard Teng, Binance co-CEO, said the exchange is evaluating the proposal. The company has not confirmed which stocks would be included or whether the products would involve direct equities, tokenized securities, derivatives or another structure.

“We are weatherproofing ourselves,” Teng said.

Binance offers access to more than 7,000 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds through one app and account in selected jurisdictions. Trading is available 24/5, extending the platform beyond cryptocurrency markets while keeping product availability subject to local eligibility.

The exchange also offers bStocks, tokenized securities backed 1:1 by underlying securities. The products support 24/7 trading and 1:1 redemption under their terms, but they do not represent shares or provide direct ownership of the underlying stocks. Binance does not offer bStocks to U.S. persons or in the United States.

Binance uses different structures for its stock-related products. Direct stock trading is routed through an introducing broker and clearing partner, while bStocks represent interests tied to underlying securities rather than ownership of the shares themselves.

The exchange has also introduced derivatives linked to companies preparing for potential listings. On Sept. 22, Binance launched the MOONSHOTUSDT pre-IPO perpetual contract tied to Beijing Moonshot AI Technology Co., Ltd. and a prospective Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing. The contract settles in USDT and permits leverage of up to 20x.

Teng said Binance is positioning its platform as a multi-asset service as crypto adoption develops. “The first 3% of [crypto] adopters didn’t need certainty, and they didn’t want certainty,” he said.
