Bybit is expanding beyond cryptocurrency trading with more than 500 traditional-finance products, seeking to give users access to multiple global markets through one platform, CEO Ben Zhou said.

The offerings cover oil, foreign exchange, commodities, Nasdaq indexes and contracts for difference tied to individual stocks. Bybit also has more than 250 traditional-finance perpetual contracts, Zhou said during the company’s “Make Your Move” global keynote.

The perpetual contracts have generated about $180 billion in cumulative trading volume since launching in March. Perpetual contracts are derivatives that generally do not have an expiration date and allow traders to take positions based on an asset’s price movements.

Bybit began moving into premarket trading in June. The company plans to offer premarket opportunities before high-demand new stocks list, Zhou said.

Bybit’s stated goal is to build a platform covering global asset classes. The company said it wants users to participate in multiple financial markets through the platform.
