Metaplanet plans to repurchase 96,934,800 shares for approximately ¥25.3 billion through an off-market Tokyo Stock Exchange transaction, a move representing about 7.1% of its outstanding stock excluding treasury shares.

The Bitcoin treasury company will place the order at ¥261 per share, its closing price on Oct. 13. Execution is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. ET on Oct. 13 (23:45 UTC) through the exchange’s ToSTNeT-3 block-trading mechanism.

Metaplanet has fixed the number of shares for the transaction and does not plan to adjust it. The company will disclose the final execution results after the transaction window ends.

The planned buyback is part of a broader repurchase authorization covering up to 200 million shares, or about 14.7% of issued shares, with a maximum value of ¥60 billion.
