BlackLane Capital, the rebranded investment firm related to CoinSwitch co-founder Ashish Singhal, plans to help facilitate more than $100 million in startup financing over the next five years.

The firm will combine its own investments with the networks of founders, investors and strategic partners to support the financing target. Its investment focus will include financial technology, enterprise infrastructure, consumer applications and digital assets.

BlackLane plans to raise its maximum investment per deal to $5 million, compared with its previous average of about $100,000 to $200,000.

The firm previously focused on Web3, blockchain and token-related projects. Its expanded strategy will target businesses serving large markets and capable of expanding across regions.

Singhal said the firm expects to shift its capital allocation from roughly 50% tokens and 50% equity to about 90% direct equity and 10% other investments.

Since its founding in 2023, the firm has invested in Stan, Deconflict, Yousend and Uniblock.
