Albertsons Companies pulled its fiscal 2026 guidance Tuesday as the grocery retailer began a comprehensive business review following a sharp decline in second-quarter earnings.

The company’s results were pressured by higher delivery and handling costs tied to digital sales growth, which compressed gross margins. Albertsons did not provide updated fiscal 2026 guidance as it started the review.

The review follows ACI Edge, an operating-structure realignment that consolidated the company’s divisions. Albertsons is using the initiative as part of its broader turnaround effort.

The guidance withdrawal comes as the company reports its latest quarterly results, following earlier expectations for weaker second-quarter earnings.
