FalconX, Ethena Operate $1 Billion USDe-Backed Lending Facility
The overcollateralized loans use USDe reserve assets, with Ethena holding first-priority security rights. FalconX has processed more than $2.5 trillion in cumulative trading volume.

FalconX and synthetic-dollar protocol Ethena are operating a $1 billion lending facility backed by reserve assets associated with the USDe stablecoin, creating a large credit arrangement for institutional crypto markets.
The loans are overcollateralized, meaning the value of the pledged assets exceeds the amount borrowed. Ethena holds first-priority security rights over the collateral, giving it the senior claim under the arrangement.
FalconX, an institutional crypto trading platform, has processed more than $2.5 trillion in cumulative trading volume. The facility links that trading infrastructure with USDe reserve assets through a secured lending structure.
The arrangement adds to USDe’s role in institutional market activity while placing collateral priority and reserve assets at the center of the lending relationship.
