BitGo announced Stablecoin-as-a-Service to help banks and financial services firms launch and manage stablecoins with reserve management, custody, compliance, minting and burning tools.

The framework is designed for institutions that want to operate stablecoins without developing every required component themselves. It brings together functions needed to manage reserves, hold digital assets, meet compliance requirements and create or destroy stablecoin units.

Stablecoins are increasingly used for digital transactions, while institutions are seeking infrastructure that supports their operational and regulatory requirements. BitGo’s offering is positioned to address those needs through an integrated framework for stablecoin operations.

BitGo provides digital-asset custody and management solutions for institutional investors. Its broader services include custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing and settlement.

The announcement adds stablecoin management capabilities to BitGo’s institutional services and gives banks and financial services firms a way to access the infrastructure needed for stablecoin operations without building each component independently.
