Binance Expands bStocks Collateral Eligibility to Margin Accounts
Regular, VIP 1 and VIP 2 users must pass a suitability assessment before using bStocks as collateral.

Binance announced expanded bStocks collateral eligibility for Cross Margin and Portfolio Margin accounts on Sept. 21, widening access to the tokenized securities while retaining regional, suitability and risk controls.
Regular, VIP 1 and VIP 2 users must pass a suitability assessment before using bStocks as collateral. Accounts that exceed risk thresholds may face restrictions, while VIP 3 users and above are exempt from those added controls.
Restrictions may limit transfers of bStocks into an account, borrowing or purchases of some assets, and the opening of new futures positions in Portfolio Margin accounts. If restrictions last seven consecutive days, Binance may demand immediate repayment of margin loans.
bStocks had $500 million in assets under management on July 29, seven weeks after launching June 11. At that point, the offering had grown from five tickers to more than 46 listings.
bStocks track listed securities but do not represent shares or provide direct ownership or shareholder rights. The products are unavailable in the United States and to U.S. persons, and access is limited by eligibility and regional rules.
