Anthropic’s confidential IPO filing has not set terms for a public offering, leaving the potential value of employee stock uncertain as the company considers a possible listing.

Anthropic confidentially submitted a draft registration statement on June 1. The filing gives the company the option to go public after Securities and Exchange Commission review, subject to market conditions and other factors. Anthropic has not announced a listing date, IPO price or share count.

The company’s latest announced private valuation was $965 billion after a $65 billion Series H funding round in May. That private valuation does not establish the value of shares in a public offering or how much employees could realize. Any proceeds would depend on final offering terms, employee equity arrangements and possible limits on selling shares after a listing.

Anthropic recorded nearly $4.6 billion in revenue and a net loss of about $42 billion in 2025. The reported loss included an accounting charge of roughly $34 billion tied to financing instruments that could convert into shares; its operating loss was about $8 billion.

Anthropic’s confidential filing does not make its detailed terms public. The company has not confirmed a $2 trillion IPO valuation, a raise of up to $100 billion or a timetable for going public.
