Gate US has joined Open Standard, a stablecoin infrastructure initiative with more than 200 partners, bringing a company serving 47 states and territories into the effort.

Its participants span payments, banking, technology and crypto, including Visa, Mastercard, Stripe, Coinbase and Shopify.

Interoperability means separate systems can work together. Open Standard focuses on applying that approach to stablecoin infrastructure to support wider use.

Gate US holds 37 state money transmitter licenses and provides services across 47 states and territories.
