TSMC raised its 2026 revenue growth outlook to about 44% after third-quarter net profit jumped 69%, reinforcing the AI-chip demand signal watched by U.S. technology and crypto-linked markets.

Net profit reached $23.6 billion, and revenue rose 51% to $47 billion. Both topped market expectations. The revised full-year forecast, measured in U.S. dollars, is up from the company’s previous expectation of growth slightly above 40%.

For the fourth quarter, TSMC projected revenue of $52.3 billion to $54.3 billion. It expects gross margin of 65% to 67% and operating margin of 56.5% to 58.8%. The company forecast capital spending of $60 billion to $64 billion for 2026.

TSMC is advancing construction and equipment plans at about 20 factories at once, compared with four or five new plants in its earlier pattern. The results offer U.S. technology markets a corporate measure of continued AI infrastructure demand, a theme that also feeds into broader risk appetite, including in crypto markets.
