TSMC Revenue Rises 41.2% to $46.72 Billion in Third Quarter
High-performance computing made up 68% of sales, and TSMC forecast fourth-quarter revenue of $52.3 billion to $54.3 billion.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) reported $46.72 billion in third-quarter revenue, up 41.2% year over year, with high-performance computing accounting for more than two-thirds of sales.
Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose 16.2% from the previous quarter. High-performance computing revenue grew 22% sequentially, and the segment’s share of total revenue climbed to 68% from 66% in the second quarter and 57% a year earlier.
Demand for leading-edge technologies supported revenue growth. The high-performance computing share is a business-segment measure, not a tally of AI revenue. Third-quarter sales exceeded the company’s prior forecast of $44.6 billion to $45.8 billion.
For the fourth quarter, TSMC forecast revenue of $52.3 billion to $54.3 billion, with gross margin between 65% and 67%.
