Fission Closes $10 Million Series A to Speed Tokenized Fund Exits
Pantera Capital led the round, which also drew Circle Ventures, Borderless Capital and Ari Rubenstein.

Fission closed a $10 million Series A in September to help holders of tokenized fund interests exit faster, with the company stepping in as buyer while investors might otherwise wait months for redemption.
Pantera Capital led the financing. Circle Ventures, Borderless Capital and Ari Rubenstein also participated, and Fission did not disclose a valuation.
Putting fund interests on a blockchain does not guarantee a quick sale. Investors connect a digital wallet and submit a request through Fission’s platform; the company buys the interest and handles the legal and transaction work. The process is designed to bypass waiting for a fund to handle a redemption.
Some products that normally take about 200 days to sell can be sold immediately for a fee, with settlement in 90 seconds or less.
Founded in 2024, Fission has a founding team with experience at Point72 and Securitize. Its customers are mainly institutional investors and organizations with on-chain assets, including hedge funds holding tokenized private credit or equity, crypto firms managing treasuries, and stablecoin issuers investing reserves in yield-bearing tokenized products.
